Auto insurance, shopped by a broker who already knows you
Same approach as the truck side: we’re independent, we compare carriers, and you get one call back instead of ten. If your commercial policy is already with us, this takes about four minutes.
The reason most of our clients are here
Your truck is covered. Your family car should be too.
Carriers price multi-policy accounts differently than one-off personal auto. When we already hold your commercial file, we can usually place the personal side better than a comparison site can — and you get one broker who answers for both.
Coverages
What goes on a California auto policy
California sets a legal minimum. The minimum is almost never the right answer — it’s just the cheapest way to stay legal. Here’s what each part does.
Required in CA
Liability
Pays for injury and property damage you cause to other people. California’s minimum is low relative to what a real accident costs — if you own a home or a business, higher limits are worth the small premium difference.
Core
Collision
Repairs your own vehicle after an accident, regardless of fault. Required if you’re financing or leasing.
Core
Comprehensive
Everything that isn’t a collision: theft, vandalism, fire, hail, a rock through the windshield, hitting an animal.
Strongly recommended
Uninsured / underinsured motorist
Covers you when the other driver has no insurance or not enough of it. In California this matters more than most people realize — a meaningful share of drivers on the road are uninsured.
Optional
Medical payments
Covers medical bills for you and your passengers after an accident, no matter who caused it.
Optional
Optional Roadside & rental reimbursement
Towing, jump starts, lockouts, and a rental car while yours is in the shop. Small add-ons that pay for themselves the first time you use them.
Filings
SR-22 filings, handled without the lecture
If the DMV requires an SR-22, you need a carrier that will write you and file it correctly. We do this regularly — a DUI, a suspension, or driving without insurance doesn’t make you unwriteable, it makes you a smaller market.
What it is
An SR-22 isn't insurance. It's a form your insurer files with the California DMV certifying that you carry at least the state minimum liability.
How long
California typically requires it for three years from the date of the offense. Let it lapse and your license gets suspended again.
What we do
We find the carrier, file the form, and monitor the term so it doesn't lapse on a renewal date nobody was watching.
Call and ask for it directly. We can usually bind and file the same day.

Common questions
Before you ask
Is the California minimum liability enough?
Legally, yes. Practically, rarely. A single accident with injuries can exceed the state minimum quickly, and anything above the limit comes out of your assets. Raising liability limits is usually one of the cheapest changes you can make to a policy.
Can you insure me if I have a DUI or a suspended license?
Yes. Fewer carriers will write you and the premium will be higher, but the market exists and we know it. We also handle the SR-22 filing.
Do I need commercial auto instead of personal auto?
If the vehicle is used for business — deliveries, hauling equipment, transporting clients — a personal policy may deny the claim. If you’re not sure which side of that line you’re on, call us before you buy. It’s a five-minute conversation that prevents a very bad surprise.
Can I insure my truck and my personal cars together?
They’re separate policies, but the same broker manages both — one point of contact for renewals, certificates and claims, and usually better pricing on the personal side.
