Launching during one of the most unpredictable periods in recent history, we quickly found our purpose in helping trucking companies navigate the rapidly changing landscape brought on by the pandemic. As regulations, market conditions, and operational demands evolved, we remained committed to providing reliable guidance, personalized service, and practical solutions for our clients.

Royal Shield was founded
Founded as a one-desk brokerage serving owner operators in the Los Angeles and Long Beach port corridor.
First fleet accounts
Expanded from single-truck owner operators into small fleets of five to twenty power units.
Personal lines added
Auto and personal policies for the same families we already covered on the commercial side.
Still the same phone number
Same office, same broker, same-day certificates. Serving California-domiciled operations running local, regional and 48-state.

We're independent
We don't work for a carrier, so we're not defending one company's product. We take your file to the market and bring back what's actually there — including when the answer is "stay where you are."

One call back, not ten
Fill out a form on most insurance sites and your number gets sold to five agencies. We shop on your behalf and call you once, with the options side by side.

We explain the exclusions
Anyone can quote a premium. The part that matters is what the policy won't pay for. We go through that before you sign, not after a claim.

We answer after the sale
Certificates, endorsements, renewals, claims. Same broker, same number. The relationship doesn't end when the policy binds.
